I received the word, officially, today, that I passed the first round of my PhD comprehensive exam! I was a little worried, especially because there was some confusion during area 4, but it seems to have come together quite well.

Now I get to do it all over again in May, in the three areas I feel much weaker in. Oh well, don't need to worry about it for awhile!
