Video Test

Dreamhost recently made the Flash Video Player available for free to all its paying customers! To celebrate, I'm doing a test of the boy here, a quick video we took with the camera this summer. Hope it works. If not, I'll try again. And again, and again and again.

WARNING: For some reason, when I watch this video, it sounds just awful, there's this really loud static that's not present in the original file. Bill says it's not bad on his computer, but it's awful on mine. You have been warned.

To me, the background rumbling sounds like wind being picked up on the microphone.

It's obviously just my machine then. There is wind hitting the mic, I can hear that when I watch the movie locally on my machine.

However, viewing it via the Flash player, there's this horribe, overpowering periodic static sound.

I've yet to receive a spam comment, so I guess the captchas are working ok so far :)
